There's just something about summer that makes me feel so alive, so free. I'm soaking this one up since it's likely to be the last "real" summer I'll ever have. Bitter sweet I tell ya.
On a completely different note, nearly all of my blog posts have been done with my ombre hair. While I loved the low maintenance of the 'do, I was so ready to be blonde again. Yeah, I know it wasn't really that ombre. Krista (my hair extraordinaire) calls it natural ombre. Anywhoo, I've been a bright blonde most of my life and I'm so happy to have it back!
I had a little lunch with momma yesterday (the amazing sandwich above) and came home to the lovely Celine sunnies I had ordered on eBay. Another VERY successful "pre-loved" buy. Plus, my amazing momma took me to Old Navy and treated me to a couple new pieces of clothing, best mom ever.
Then Christian and I had date night. Oh, it was so wonderful. I just have the sweetest boy. We went to Z Tejas, my favorite place of all time; and then picked up some shaved ice (Bahama Bucks) before seeing Mud. For those of you who are wanting to see Mud, I must warn you: it's so slow. Good movie? Absolutely. But at least 30 minutes could have been cut out to make it an excellent movie.
I also changed outfits twice yesterday, pretty much the usual for me. Top right will be up on the blog next week :)
And guess what guys? That was only Friday! Still two more days of the weekend, whoop! :)
